An 8-year-old boy was found unconscious in the shallow end of Pennsylvania’s Knoebels Amusement Park swimming pool Saturday, July 16, and was later pronounced dead at a local hospital. “A young boy was found unresponsive by a lifeguard who immediately initiated emergency care,” reads a post to the park’sofficial Facebook page. “Additional care was provided and he was transported to Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
